Thanks Linda, I have that same kit from HF at least what's left of it from another project awhile ago. Pjack, that P21 looks great, did an amazing job on your grill.

Going back to the metal door pullers you showed - Is it just me or do those actually look like the 67.5 pullers which are actually not chrome but are more of a satin. Same goes for most other parts on the 67.5 - satin not chrome.

I had to go back and check, but they seem to be satin, definitely not chrome. They also seem to be very light, like aluminum or pot metal.

Grab a magnet and see. Aluminum isn't visibly magnetic.

I found out here about using 00 steel wool to clean rust from and polish chrome. It has worked very well for me.

Top two are done with P21s, still have to go back and polish them. Bottom two are next. Overall, I think their pretty good, although pitting still needs to be addressed. The wife's not too happy with me using the living room table and kitchen sink though! Will have to source new rubber gaskets and the plastic doohickey under the lens.

Looking good. Don’t forget to check with Nissan on those parts. I believe you can still get gaskets and screws on the tail lights.

So, other than being a contortionist to get the bottom manifold bolts off, that was the easiest head I've ever removed.

I wasn't getting any compression in #4 here are some pic's of the head, the single cylinder is of #4. What else should I do while I'm here?
Head 4.jpg
Head 2.jpg
Head 8.jpg
I sprayed some PB Blaster in the intake port in this one, should I just lap the valve and get it to seat, I know, I know, while it's off, do a valve job............
Head 7.jpg
Got some cleaning to do and carb kits to order.

I must have missed this, I need

1 front turn signal
1 rear light to body
2 rear chrome to chrome
4 of the plastic spacers in the housing

Thanks

I thought the intake was wet with fuel, don't know if you can see it in the pics but the surface is dark brown/black, smooth, and dry.

A couple of those coolant passages in the block look like they could be undercut.
