Trunk mat changes over the years

Post by SABLT194 »

I know at some point NISMO changed the jack location from the drivers side wheel well to the rear bulkhead. Also, the spud for the spare tire hold down has moved as well. Anybody have a factual chronology of what changes occurred and when. I am going with the assumption that the general dimensions of the trunk area from the bulkhead to the rear panel and side to side at the drop offs, and the location of the rear wheel wells never changed over the years. Is that a good assumption as well???

Steve

Thanks, That would be great. If I get a good overhead shot, I may be able to digitize it and compare it to my 66 trunk. At least that would be 2 data points.

Pretty sure Ted has the service bulletin for the spare tire boss relocation. Should be a post somewhere too. Not sure if it was ever added to the wiki.
