Huh. The thought that goes through my mind when I read the wife's posting is "Up for sale: Wife's shoes. She has too many of them, doesn't wear them all the time. I'm sick of them, so I am posting them for sale here."

You may be right Greg...I was hearing this conversation:
Wife: "that goddamn little car just sits there and sucks money. You don't drive it , it's in the way and it's just an old car. You should get rid of it."
Husband, thinking fast: "you're right dear but I haven't time to fiddle with selling it".
Wife: "I'll sell the damn thing, just to get room in the garage for my (insert SUV). How much should I ask for it."
Husband: "I'm into it about $14000 and they're going up in value". He knows it probably won't sell for that but he's agreed and let his wife handle it so "not my fault it didn't work out".

Good plan! What's really scary is what if you are out of town and your wife sells your car for what you TOLD HER you have spent on it so far? EEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!
