U20 Head Dimension

I want to know what the intake port dimension is from a stock head. Mine measures 1.700 wide and 1.720 high.

I just measured on a non-smog head and it looks like 1.496 and 1.65 (or pretty much exactly 38 mm x 42 mm). I don't think this has had any porting or polishing as the casting texture is still present... Hope that helps.

I guess a PO did some porting on my head.
This is another step in the right direction in my attempt to reproduce a Solex intake for my car.

Way to go, now all you need is some linkage.
How did you deal with the round pipe and oval holes at the head flange and round holes at carb flanges.

The center pull linkage is from Gerardo. The manifold is for a 1500/1600. I think that I want Weber carbs.
