That was 6-8 for cleaning, sanding, paint, stitch and then second stitch. Just to do the wrap and stitch I would say 1-2 hours.

Yeah, that sounds right for just the stitch.

Whew. That sounds closer to my attention span! My steering wheel isn’t in too bad of shape, I already did a deep clean on it last year.

Nice job on the stitch. Just curious, I just ordered one on Amazon. How much of the width did you trim? Do you have to account for stretching when the sun hits it?

Kind of hard to measure now that it is on the wheel. I just went out and gave it a try. The piece I used appears to be 3" wide to wrap and have the edges touch. I haven't had any issues with it changing size.

Just finished mine! Looks/feels great, especially for $13. I trimmed it to 2-5/8” and that worked out perfect.
