My 4:62 gears are NOT going to like their new shoes!
The big tires are 215/60/14 that I was running when I parked the Roadster in the early 80s. Since the national speed limit was 55 and most engines weren't tuned to run at diesel rpm's like they are today it didn't seem so bad. The new tires are 195/60/14 Falken Azenis RT615k+ and are a full inch shorter. Interestingly enough they are only about a quarter of an inch narrower.
