No such thing as spray chrome, just cheesy paint posing as such.

There are "Spray on Chrome" systems that are really spray-on hydro-plating silver. A 7 layer process that start at about $600.
Caswell is a respected Hobby plating vender that now has a system.

This forum makes me spend to much money. I am at the process now of needing to restore bits and pieces of my roadster, I just purchased the plating kit after reading this thread.

Yep. I used the Eastwood plating kit and have been very happy with it. The zinc anode plates more of a silver, but is pretty close to what a 67.5 would've had anyways. It's held up well so far..

Don't know of any Roadster Owners using the Faux Chrome, but there are lots of examples on YOUTUBE.

Pro's it is quicker ,cheaper than re-chroming
Con's. It looks like you brushed on aluminum paint on your bumper

Anyone had the chrome parts gold plated instead ?

In the hobby world, there is a paint that comes from the UK called Alclad. It's basically a bunch of tiny metal particles suspended in lacquer. You mist it over gloss black paint and it turns into what is probably the closest thing to chrome as you will ever get with paint. The problem is, it's not robust at all, tarnishes with finger prints, and would be nearly impossible to paint on a large scale.

Kevin Desirello blacked out or removed all the chrome on his car. Problem solved, looks great.

I've seen something on utube where you spray heavy with water first , then this chrome stuff , then water again and it's very shiny but mirror like not metal flake shiny metallic.. I'm wondering which this is and how much .. it looks very easy to do even large pieces .. anyone elce see this kind lately ?
