No paint yet but we did plug all the engine bay holes that will not be used for the swap.

Nice and smooth.
Are you going to pass the wiring thru the heater valve hole?

I sent photos from some of Michael Spreadbury's builds to the shop for a guess to what we would need. At this point I really have no idea. I do know that I wasn't going to need the majority of the holes. It will be easier to drill and paint then weld in the unused holes. This is probably a good time to start a thread on this subject... Late for me but good for future builds.

I ask because 1 heater hose hole has been filled on the driver side. The heater valve hole is still there.
Shouldnt be a problem if you are not going to reinstall the heater core. Up here in wa we need our heaters!!!

The Vintage Air has heat and air conditioning. I have the unit mounted but not sure where I will be sending the lines yet. I have the body here in St Augustine getting the last details done for paint and the frame with engine are about an hour away in Jacksonville. Makes it hard for figuring this out.

By moch up box do you mean the box on the side of my fender well? I went with the Vintage Air "Gen 2 Mini" with heat, cool and defrost. I (as in my fabricator) have added a vent box to the unit to push the air vertically toward the glove box instead of up so as to make more room for the vent tubes.
My dash is custom so not sure if my set up will work with any other. I don't have any photos of the unit mounted at the moment, sorry...

Sorry meant mock-up box from vintage air that's just an empty shell the size of the unit under the dash. I really have issues with spelling..lol!

This is what we came up with for the final firewall set up. Weather is not cooperating this week for paint. Maybe next week it will stop raining long enough to get the car to the other building to put on the undercoat and then paint.

Why did you retain the hand throttle bracket?

Ugh! good question. I guess I was thinking it was the throttle hole. Don't ask me why... So final is not final. The rain saved my butt this time and I will fix this. Thank you
I have custom peddles pebbles. Now I have to figure out where to add the hole for my configuration.

bed liner applied to unseen areas and trunk. lots of work on the hardtop. smoothed out and reinforced. Should start up again in a week or so. The engine bay holes are cleaned up again.
