I picked up the military grade terminal from Grainger. I intend to have a mold made of the original and hope to successfully cast them.

However, if that doesn't work out then these are not a wholly terrible substitute.

Just received a photo of the new crimping jaws. Tim in CO got his son to make them for me.

Tool porno.

Interested if you make these available. Not concerned about looks myself, I just need to make sure I'm grounded properly!

So the new crimping jaw didn't work as expected. This is what happens when you try to reverse engineer as I did. Close but no cigar.

I found some Honda battery cables that are very similar. Seem to be about 6 gauge which about the same. My jeweler friend is working on a pattern for casting like the original but these work well. I snipe off the extra wire. Not sure how many of these I'll be able to get for long term. The yellow stripe is put on with a paint pen so quality is so so.

Where do all of those ends go? currently I have one from the battery to the block and another from the block to the body. I suppose there should be one from the block to the frame even though there is one on the other side?

The early cable goes to the block, alternator, frame and VR. Later cable has one less wire since the alternator is on the other side.

I believe I have the paint stripe worked out. I used pin stripe template tape. Tim put me on to this one. A little bit of edge bleeding since I was in a hurry and didn't prep it very well.

Put one on my car. I noticed that the ground lug on my alternator is on the other side of the alternator so I need to add an inch or so.
