No, I have 4 NOS and now have them reproduced. Same for the center rear clamp.

I have 6 different hard tops, 2 low factory, 1 low parrish, 1 Alvin style :D , 1 low Snug top, 1 high aftermarket.

I have the same hard top as pictured here. It too came from a 1500. I have been saving it for later use, but willing to part with it or loan it for copying (if I could get a good copy). It needs work and is missing the rear glass. Attached is a picture of it setting on #33. Thought about selling years ago, but I hate boxing and shipping.

Bob2, for some reason I keep wanting to review all the messages that have your avatar... just can't figure out why... maybe I'm attracted to black cars, or something... :-)

If Smoothline is taking suggestions, they ought to change the forward mounting latches on the tops they sell now for high windshield cars. The j hook latches they come with are crap.

Smoothline's new web site is up and running and they mention the New LW Facory Hardtop is coming soon. Maybe our project can start to move a little faster now that Jack finally has finished the Web Site . SL has a new Free Hardtop Program listed on there site . Check it out http://www.smoothline.com/

It says a new High Windshield top starts at $1299.00

Without what SL calls "options" like paint and chrome trim, can you give us an estimate of what a low windshield top will cost?

If it comes out to be $1800+ then why not just get one from Japan, YAJ, etc?

My high windshield top came out to $1509 with shipping 1 state away and forum discount. I didn't get any options (didn't feel the need to).
