Another Utah Roadster!

Post by Skyman »

I just met another Utah Roadster owner yesterday. Alex with his very nice 68 1600. I hope he doesn't care if I post this. Sorry Alex. We're going to try and get out for a drive soon before the weather turns. He says he knows of another one as well. That makes about 10 that I know of. Who woulda thunk?

Piped and chipped means free flow intake, (AFE Stage 2) and a 4" exhaust all the way back. No Cat. At least that is what they call it in my neck of the woods.

I thought "chipped" meant that the computer had been upgraded to a performance chip.

It does down here. I have chipped and piped my truck - plus added free flowing intake and more.

I have a 5 position chip as well. DP Tuner. This truck can move pretty good.

I have a TS 6 position chip. In time I will do injectors to be able to take advantage of the chip more.

I am seriously regretting that I posed the question in the first place ( to quite John Cleese) <G>

Hi all! I just picked up a 1969 SPL for rebuild and eventual restoration. I would love to meet a few of you Utah folks and take a look at your cars. I am in the Lehi area but I work in SLC so I am happy to swing by if you have a moment one evening. I am hoping to learn from everyone and get some first hand exposure to finished cars. Hopefully given the age of this thread a few of you are still around and have your cars!
