That's a nice looking piece, did you make that yourself?

Starting early for the 2019 Roadster Driving Season.
New Tires for the roadsters.
Mounted and balanced by DROPS member Pete Dills using his NICE Tire machine and balancer.
TOYO Proxes T1R 195/45/15 for the 66 KA roadster Panasports.

Pete recently bought a nice tire machine and balancer. We saw them at the NWDE Fall BBQ.
Pete is willing to help NWDE and DROPS members with tire mounting/balancing.
Loaded up the List Meister's Tire Transporter ( Prius).
8 Wheels with worn tires. 8 New tires. NO PROBLEM and room for a few more.
Drove to the Pete Dills Tire shop this afternoon and
got all tires dismounted, new ones mounted and balanced.
Pete knows how to do the work. No wheels, tires or people were scratched or injured!
Excellent result at a very friendly DROPS/NWDE price.
HIGHLY recommended. 5 Star rating.

I painted the front frame, steering and suspension. I used plain old gloss Rustoleum with hardener. Yes, I will have a little bling effect with gloss instead of satin.

While cleaning the suspension there was a lot of gross rough resistance to turning the spindles as in steering, yet it had been smooth while pushing the car in the shop. After much searching I finally found that I could adjust it back to normal smoothness by simply taking up the slack in the steering box.

The engine bay, trunk, and jams will hopefully be painted in a few days, almost 14 months from when the high build primer sealer was put on over the base epoxy primer. The cockpit was coated in base/clear the day after the high build primer was applied.

The wheel hubs are on temporarily while I have new seals on order. In this photo the missing portions of the outer lip of the old seal should be visible despite the lack focus. The brake calipers are off while rebuilding the wheel cylinders, and the cylinders and calipers will all be painted Ford tractor red while they are off.

Today I painted the engine compartment, the trunk, and the insides of the doors, hood, trunk lid, and the front fenders along with the jams. It is 666 base/clear. My fit bit in my I-phone says I climbed 6 flights of stairs and walked 3.6 miles.

Installed the master cylinders and made up and installed new brake and clutch lines. I have to get another coil of the tubing in order to finish.

Nice work on the brake lines, that's a lot of bends!

I tried to get mine started today after a long time sitting. Very close, need to adjust a few more things I think. Will keep trying, threads in this forum have been very helpful so far.

Looking great. I remember doing this 34 years ago! That's why I can run a 510 master cylinder.
