Changed the oil, used a WIX 51342. First bought a Mobile One M1205A. It would not accommodate the filter tube on our U20

Attended to a VERY small detail. Strangely satisfying though.

It would appear that they are currently “sold out,” but this is where I got them.

Brought it back from the intensive care facility. No wait, DROVE it home from the shop. The bride noted that in 30 years of marriage, this is the first time she has seen it running.
Now the other work begins.

Went to the Nissan dealer the other day to pick up some more parts I ordered. Got some more hood bumper sets and rear reflectors among other things. So nice to have a decades long relationship with some of the parts people, over 40 years in one case. Nissan sent a couple extra and they weren't in the new system so they gave them to me.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Today I rotated my tires. I'll re-torque after a drive tomorrow!

Actually not today, yesterday. Took my wife for a ride for the first time after getting it back after a year at MAS Imports in Fleetwood, PA. Mike Sacks corrected all my errors and completed the upgrades I unsuccessfully tried to do. The only thing to do now is to change jets on the Mikunis to get better response at low rpm. The car is amazing at high rpm. Still ugly, but mostly it is a blur when in motion. Gotta get me one of those stickers for the mirror that says objects in the mirror are losing. No longer frustrated. Have to think of a new name.

Congratulations on enjoying your Roadster again, awesome that you need to find a new moniker!
