Totally agree! This has been a long offseason that has carried over to driving season, but I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and am stoked to see it all together.

I have been repairing various buzzing and vibrating noises now that my car is back together and driving. The latest repair was the new inside rear view mirror head. The glass was vibrating inside the plastic housing. I pulled it off and there is a small hole inside the ball socket. I gave it a quick shot of expanding foam - quickly cleaned out the socket with q-tips! - and the vibration noise is gone!

Got my AC prototype bracket setup 98% done yesterday for my SR20 swap. I'll be updating my build thread in a few weeks with more details, but was so excited to show the progress here.

The previous owner didn't run a tap through the holes and they were all REALLY tight and two were 10mm vs. 7/16". I didn't want to remove the windshield to do this.
Shannon,
Let me know if the DatsuvVents are too tight a fit for JustDashes dash.
I can customize a set slightly smaller. I have v=never fitted a set personally for a just dashed dash and depending how they handle the material around the vent opening, I may need to make adjustments to a JustDashes dash compared to a stock dash.
Take photos and or measurements and email them to me and I will recreate a pair if you need me to, No charge.

Greg: I received the vents and will be installing them this weekend. I'll let you know how they fit but don't expect any problems.

Running them on the original wiring, which is in great shape. No issues so far. Love the improved brightness.

Went to a local exhaust shop (Austin's Pro-Max in Puyallup) as I was tired of the rattle that always came back. I use to have a flex pipe in line just past the header, but since I had opened up the frame and repositioned things I did not think it was needed. Wishful thinking. The tech (who owns a '73 240z with a planned RB25 conversion in the future) looked things over, with me thinking I would have to replace the collector, bung for the O2 sensor, etc. He noted that it rattled in the back frame hole and decided to put the flex in the middle of the pipe between the x frame. That saved me money, simplified the work and solved the problem... win/win. I like that.

Adjusted the clutch slave by having it push out 3/8” more. WOW, that made a huge difference at the pedal! Before the clutch pedal friction release point was extremely close to the floor. Now, it’s much farther away from the floor...
