After reading about the horror stories when the hood latch is faulty, today I put in a trip wire.

On Saturday, I dropped and cleaned the fuel tank, reinstalled said fuel tank, cleaned out the fuel line, put on a new fuel pump, and put in new brake shoes.

Paints done . it turned out fair . 2 spots at the very end just killed it . . chrome is mostly back on . I think I fixed the deal with lights and LED. oh I have the SS windshield trim in without removing window. haha it'll hold for now . windows in solid still , no leaks . . got to drive it today after 2 weeks . no windows in yet waiting on new drivers window without scratches.

Got my harmonic balancer back from Damper Dudes. Had them primer it so I can paint it the same color as the motor when I paint that. Also got my flywheel resurfaced. The heat cracks in the flywheel disappeared. :D

How much did Damper Dudes charge?
Damper Doctor costs $170 now days which seems a bit much.

They charged $109 plus $15 shipping. Turn around time was pretty good, also.

With help from Premo, we installed a C cam and Stan's adjustable cam gear. And we almost finish the whole bottle of Suntory whiskey while performing the job.
