Good roadster brethren: In looking a the replies here, there have been comments, pictures and some off forum emails sent to others, but does anyone have any active sites that they can post which could be used to procure floor mats with custom DATSUN / Roadster logos and images (like the Griffin)? My internet searches have turned up nothing that are near the ones shown in the pictures that everyone seemed to covet--in fact most 'custom' sites I found do not allow model or manufacturer names to be used. Any thoughts/paths for additional research? Thanks in advance.

I haven't noticed that. They have a vinyl bottom so you could put them over carpet.

All— I can say that Gerardo helped me get some in 2013 for my 2000, and they look great, just as in the pictures he has of them in his car. I don’t have pix handy or I would attach. The process: I sent him an email at fairladyparts@gmail.com after looking at the following site of his: http://www.fairladyparts.com/carmats.html to get an idea of what I wanted. He replied with the price and I sent it via PayPal. The factory had a ‘filch’ as he stated with the file that drives the custom template, so this was a bit of a delay, but he worked it out with them and they arrived in about 2 weeks. Hopefully Gerardo is still open to supporting these as I am unaware of any other options and I should also order another set for variety! Hope this helps others.

Recently got my Cocomats, and I'm VERY happy with them. The patterns they sent were not even close to fitting, but it was simple to make my own pattern. The product they delivered fit just the way I wanted it.

Not good ones, put here's a couple pics. They sent me a pattern to try, but it wasn't even close to fitting. So I made a pattern with wrapping paper to the size I wanted, marked the heel pad, and sent it in. The mats run from the seat rails to up the firewall, and from side to side are wall to wall. They are made with a thick a rubber pad and stay in place. There was a video on YouTube or Jay Leno's show about how they are made.
