OK, this MAY have to move to Ratsun, who BTW, has a boob post approaching 70 pages last time I looked.

My first knob was machined by Herb Petty with flush Datsun emblem, it was weighted and polished:

Here is Herb's in his '66, with a different logo:

Not sure if it is weighted or not... I know the Titanium one I have on my 350Z is super light... So I would guess no, but have no idea to be quite honest? Logic being that a weighted knob makes for faster throw?

Alvin:
That OEM Silvia looks like it has an Opel logo?
They all look really nice - any of them would work for me!

Too bad Gerardo's site is "Under Construction" -- he has aftermarket knobs that look OEM, only much better b/c the bottom part is stainless rather than the chrome that becomes flakey after awhile. Last summer he was selling these for $40, a real bargain when compared to used originals. He also had custom polished knobs in his inventory.

My knob is stainless steel, weighted. It is the same configuration as the stock knob.

I thought it was a lil silly at first,,,,but now a few pages deep, it shows the individuality and each owners particular tastes. pretty cool..
Very nice Howard.
