NICE crisp day for a short drive in the Snoqualmie Valley. 80 miles.
Waited till 1 when it had warmed up to the mid 40's.

DROVE to our Seattle area Datsun Club Meeting. 11-2-19

Great NWDE meeting today.
Sunny and fairly warm. 18 members and 10 Datsuns.
7 roadsters, 2 trucks and a 510.
Nominated or carry over officers for 2020 were.
President. Ted H
Vice President. Dan R
Treasure. Steve C.
Secretary. Current Secretary, Don A, wanted to allow some other member to enjoy all the joys of being Secretary.
Bre Goss and Julie Harms were nominated for Co-Secretaries.
If any Club member wants to step up and be an officer, nominate yourself for any position.
We will vote for new 2020 officers at the December Meeting.

Alan brought a few of his large collection of NOS roadster parts to sell.
Prices were VERY reasonable. See what you miss if you do not come!

Steve drove his newly painted and chromed 62 320. Well done Steve.

The short drive after the meeting with Dan, John V, Ted and Ted Jr started well but close to Enumclaw
Ted Jr's roadster alternator gave up. No charging and battery voltage about 11.2 volts.
The roadster has one of the small glass mat batteries and its storage potential did not seem great.
We all turned back to escort him home. About 15 miles back to his place.
Near home it was cutting out. Made it into the garage and it died with voltage reading 7.9.

To Index in the Cascades foothills. 110 miles
Another nice day so had to drive.
Our back roads route to Index ending on Reiter road.

Last weekend I drove two roadsters. Took mine through the foothills and Calero Reservoir. Took the Side-Pipe car out as well!

North along the Cascade foothills to Granite Falls.
Since Steve T sold his 64 1500 on BAT for $50,000 we have a new benchmark value.
I know that 64. Mine is better. I added $5,000. .

Sunny cold day. Have to drive when the weather is good.
Waited till noon when it had warmed to 40*. Heater was ON.

After a solid week of rain we got a break! Drove to local foothills and back home. More rain coming but next weekend looking good!

DROVE to Mt. Umunhum with Rob in SRL-0248. It was cold at the top!
