No photo but I did get to drive the roadster today. A friend's 2016 Sentra up and quit on him this morning. Used my AAA to get it towed to a shop. They couldn't work on it right away and thought it was the fuel pump. So we had it towed to NIssan. Not sure what the problem was but they got it fixed pretty quick. Pick it up tomorrow.

Since it was sunny out I drove him to the shop in the roadster to meet the tow truck driver. Had planned to do house chores and harness building today. Tomorrow I guess.

DROVE my 66 KA roadster to the Powerland (ex-Canby) Datsun "gathering". 460 miles. 6-9-19.
A long day. Off at 5:15 am, back at 9:15 pm.
Met the local roadster drivers at the event, Even Pebbles, but he TRAILERED as usual!. 3 demerits.
First time appearance for new Oregon resident (ex-Cal), DATSUNRIDES. Now in Roseburg.
He DROVE, judging by all the exhaust stain on the bumper   3 Merits for datsunrides.
Good showing for roadsters on Sunday. 11 in total. Counted 59 total cars.
This was not an organised show to copy the deceased Canby show but a low key Datsun/Ratsun gathering.
Good turnout for this first time event as there were other shows on the weekend.
Excellent venue for a Datsun event.

I am really liking the Evil / Irreverent look of that 1200 racecar in the last pic. Quasi-Mad-Max look. Love it.

This weekend we took the roadster, the 240z, and the 510 up CA-2 to Newcombs ranch. First time we have taken all 3 cars out at the same time.

Nice, guys! 3 classic Datsuns. Did you have to take a detour via Little Tujunga Canyon? Part of Crest Hywy was closed week and a half ago.

I actually really liked it closed, with the detour.. Very quiet up there, none of the usual stupid traffic.. Although it has been 3 months since I went up..

I have to agree with you, the back roads were very open and once at the top there was plenty of parking.

Last Friday took the wife to dinner and drove along Lake Ontario for a bit (no pics). And this week I hit Buffalo’s outer harbor on my lunch hour and a quick local cruise night with my brother-in-law and his Alfa.

Roadster Drive Today. Artist Point on Mt Baker. 6-13-19. 343 miles.
FIRST 2019 DROPS Datsun Roadster Assent!👍😇😁.
Road to Artist Point (5000') opened last Sunday.
Excellent warm sunny day for this popular drive.
Thursday so very light traffic and one could drive spiritedly to the top.
And stop and take lots of pics without getting run over.
A bit cloudy at the top. Still lots of snow around.
Drove the "Prowler". From the paint. Plymouth Prowler Flame Orange.
(Too old for silly car naming but Pebbles (Dave MCP) says that is the name!)

Beautiful drive Ted, can't beat the great NW in a convertable, eh? Since my engine is still on the stand, my wife and I took her Z3 to the 410 north access side of Mt Rainier on Monday and it was beautiful. Nothing, not even a motorcycle, can beat a convertable in the mountains. I look forward to some Roadster drives soon... engine is built!
