@Raylim. I used to work at that office btw 1992-1995.

Once drove my '70 1600 to the office, convinced that Nissan folks would be loving the old Datsun. I don't think anyone even blinked an eye.

Alvin, where in San Jose do you live? I grew up in Almaden so I recognize all the backroads

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Hey David, I didn't have to go anywhere. It landed right in front of the garage.

My 88-year-old mom wanted a longer visit with my daughter, so I turned a 14-minute drive into 25. Mom said when she was a kid it was always a treat to be able to ride in the rumble seat of a roadster ... and the ride took her back. Probably a little less wind now since the roof is on. After dropping her off, I zipped home, and took my 93-year-old-dad out for a burn. He's been an advocate of the University, so we explored the local campus roads. By the time we got back, mom was ready to come home. Snow had started to fall, and I didn't want to risk getting caought in a dump, so I had to get her in the "other" car. The one with snow tires.
We timed the rides right; a foot of new white stuff is on the ground today. All in all I'm really happy they could see, get in & out of, and ride in my little car.

Nice story Ralph. First, I'm glad your parents have been able to attain that advanced age, and second, that their health allows them to get in and out of a Roadster :D
