I made a 2500+ mile round trip from Oklahoma City to Colorado and Utah in my 1968 2000. On the way up, I had an electric fuel pump crap out on me (60 miles from home) and had to change it in the rain, and had to dry out my clothes after. Other than that, my car performed like a champ!

I traveled with a group of British cars, and met up with Sean (who was driving his red 1968 1600) and his buddy Andrew in Grand Junction. We all participated in the Hagerty Silver Summit, and annual rally that takes place on backroads in the mountains and canyons of Colorado and surrounding states.

There was some amazing driving and breathtaking scenery along the way. If you're in the Colorado area, you should consider the Silver Summit in 2019!

Sounds like a great time and a well organized event. Bummer on the fuel pump, but it does provide a good story to supplement the adventure!

Drove 2 roadsters to see Pebbles "new" low windshield roadster (named "MOOSE"). 5-27-18. 135 miles
Visiting 311s member Ray Lim and son Ron were in the area and treated to a fine drive on my favorite local back roads.
Pebbles led us on more great roads in the U20/ 5 speed MOOSE. He went faster than ever.

Big shout-out “thank you” to Uncle Ted for giving me and Ron the ROYAL VIP treatment! We had such a great time driving Ted’s roadsters and now I’m afraid I got the SR20DET bug! Ron loved the feeling when the turbine was spooling up!.... me too!
A big thank you to Pebbles too for showing how much work is left to do for my future swap!
Thank you two for your hospitality.

Pretty car, does not remind me of a moose at all.. :(
Linda
Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

On Sunday I joined some Datsuns for Fun Run.

Naveed organized the drive and also took some great pictures. This is his recently acquired RHD FairladyZ:

I drove my roadster:

We left Cupertino and headed up Big Basin Way to the "skidpad", to Alice's Restaurant and down 84 to the coast.
Gorgeous weather:
