Went for a drive last Tuesday 3/20/18 and got TEDded. Yes, sometimes they travel in pairs.

Shot some pics in a mossy ravine on the way to the meeting point-

The TEDs arrive and we have a meeting of red roadsters-

Then we drove to Index and had a light lunch-

Last shot of the TEDs before we parted-

Nice day for a drive but a little cool in some places. I always enjoy giving Ted a hard time about something so this week it is cherries.

Cherry blossom-

Drove to the local cars and coffee gathering “carcadia” in so cal and met up with a fellow datsun owner who did a sd20de swap to his 1500. I showed him my yet-to-be running fairlady at the house. This evening I drove up to the national forest to close out the evening. It was such a nice day to blow some carbon out of the engine.

On Sunday I drove the Datsuns around. The Side-Pipe car hasn't been driven in a month.

This thing is so much fun to drive, despite the interesting aesthetics :D
Enjoy the Solex Sounds!

I also took Old Faithful out to Downtown San Jose, and the Kenmeri got some love too:

Nice weekend in the Carolinas! Winston Salem has a plethora of nice brew-pubs and wineries so checked out Fiddlin Fish on Saturday.

I went with a British car club from Oklahoma City to Ponca City, Okla. and Bartlesville, Okla. (home of Conoco and Philips 66 respectively).

We toured the Marland Mansion, and stayed two nights at Price Tower in Bartlesville -- the only Frank Lloyd Wright skyscraper that was ever built. It has offices, residences and since 2002, hotel rooms. It's worth a trip just to stay there.

We also saw a few homes and a church that was designed by Bruce Goff while we were on our way home.

We found some of the rare twisty roads in Oklahoma, and even passed a group of teachers marching 110 miles from Tulsa to the state Capitol in Oklahoma City via Route 66 to protest low education funding. A good time was had by all!
