Honestly, that is the LA Convention center doing LA Convention Center things.. They have an incredible list of requirements, and they make the shows pay for them.. There were so many bored employees standing around 'enforcing' convention center 'regulations' who knew they were doing nothing.. They just stand there, bored, collecting a paycheck, and waiting for the show to end so they can go home. We would not have to deal with that at say, the Auto Club Speedway, but then we would be baking out in the sun all day on asphalt.. Choices..

None of those regulations at the Shedd BBQ Datsun car show :)

I live in Mass...it's hardly any better.

But all things considered, I'd never live out there. You do have nice weather though.

Still dialing in #529. Brakes are now 100% solid. Timing and Carbs need some adjustment. New exhaust is too tame. Need to swap out for something more aggressive.

New side trim install coming soon. Still deciding whether to keep the original rims and add new white Wall Tires, or upgrade to a set of gold panasports.

Houston was in the upper 70's today, so I drove around Cinco Ranch, Texas, adjusting carbs along the way.

Thanks, Tom. This project has been the epitome of fixing previous owner's sins. Slowly getting it back to proper.

Working up the motivation to put on the side trim next...

This mural has been up for over 5 years and this is the first time I've seen it in person.

Drove to the Skagit Valley north of Seattle to see the Tulips. 4-3-17. 240 miles.
Up along the Puget Sound and back in the Cascade foothills.
Last drive to check out the roadster for the Solvang tour.
