Well there's Halloween candy in the stores already so I'm bringing back a zombie thread.
I thought I had seen everything with the help of this thread but here's a new one.

I was helping someone out on another forum and grabbed a picture of one of my spare 510 doors to help illustrate my point. It was dark in that corner of the basement where I peeled the dry duct tape away and snapped the photo. It was only after posting it that I noticed something odd. I have to admit that my skin was crawling when I went back down and stuck my hand in there not knowing what it was.

The PO had opened up the door for whatever reason and then peeled the vapour barrier away only to replace it with duct tape upon reassembly. Putting a BATH TOWEL in the bottom of the door was just an added bonus. As if they don't rust fast enough!!

Going for a sound deadener? Maybe they kept a pet, like a ferret, there on long trips!

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Indeed. The PO on my car had ruined a nice 67.5 dash mounting a push button start. Bypassing the ignition due to the terminals on the back breaking.

Going through old pictures and I came across this one. Some might think this is a sin of the PO, but I think it is a blessing and still comes in handy to this day.

Courtesy lights! They light up the footwells. You can see the little door switch

Pretty convenient. In an attempt to avoid being a sinning previous owner, I wired some interior lighting to the map light switch. No holes drilled.
