Aftermarket SAE Valve Cover Acorn Nuts for 1965-67

Post by DAC21 »

Anyone have the thread info or better yet a full Part Number for look a like SAE Chrome Acorn Nuts? God bless our Vendors but I have to save where I can on the little things. Looks like OEM Metric are still available, not SAE from what i can determine.

TIA

5/16-24 is SAE. Just about any nut will work if you have the rubber washer in place. (doesn't have to be a finishing nut)

Fastenal is not even the best price. I'll check at Tacoma Screw, maybe $3-$5? I can see making a living, but taking advantage of a perceived shortage of parts is something else. To each his own, I guess. Pat
