The sound of Solex Mikuni’s is music. I love the sound it brings so much to the driving experience!

Unnecessary shifting, acceleration, deceleration...that sound of it all makes driving fun!

My daughter and I did a weekend cruise. We had planned to go out to Santa Rosa Plateau and sketch.
We drove out from OC through Ortega up Clinton Keith Rd to the reserve, and got setup just in time for the ranger to come by and tell us we couldn't park on the copiously wide shoulder. Oh well. We continued on south through De Luz Heights (got lost twice, though it was beautiful) and ended up in Fallbrook. West on the 76 and we took the coast back up.

IS it the weekend? What day is it? I've lost track of time with no upcoming events or appointments.
We are pretty strongly locked down so my drive was from the garage to the driveway to make sure everything is still running.

Drove east towards the desert and away from the humans, taking lots of fun & winding roads around Valley Center, Escondido, and Bonsall. Stopped for a bit near a bunch of empty picnic tables:

Took the car for a drive around the countryside in Virginia and stopped to take in the view on Chesapeake Bay. It was great to get the car out and take a break away from being stuck inside all week.

Drive mine today on the usual Malibu route but CHP has a lot of presence so it was a non-stop drive

Nowhere special, but something special. One of the guys from the Caffeine & Gasoline group with an autoimmune disease had a birthday so about 50 of us met up (observed social distancing) and did a parade past his home. Everything from a McLaren to an old Plymouth station wagon.
Kind of a bummer though since we couldn’t mingle around and get some better pictures.

Drove to the lake to take some pics but because of high water all the parks are flooded and closed.
