That's exactly what it's been like. If it's 30 or above it's bearable for a while. Anything less and I don't even bother. I work on my model cars or reload some bullets in the nice warm basement.

In preparation to powder coat my frame I repaired the two places rusted through thanks to the lovely horse hair pads that Datsun used.

Horse hair right behind the front wheels equals rust.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Went to flare some Nicopp brake lines and discovered VERY quickly that the cheap parts store flaring tool SUCKS.

So I ordered a Ridgid 23337 345-DL kit, and will be trying that out tonight instead.

Does anyone know if the rear brake line from the distribution block to the rear fitting is one piece from the factory?

To Just in front of the left rear wheel. Should be a frame tab with a big nut and clip. Then one piece to the flex hose.
Maybe the right

Got it. Yeah, it's the right (passenger) side. Wasn't sure if the big hex-shaped blob was factory or not.

Be careful, there is a little ferrule in there that will fly off into the netherworld at first opportunity. It is unobtanium and will leak with out it. I had to re-create this junction with standard couplings, when I had wanted to keep it original.

Is there another coupling near the front of the X member on the right, tucked between the frame, the X and the gusset?

Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about. There's a frame mounted junction behind the X in front of the rear tire, but there's another coupling in front of the X.

Also, is the brake line supposed to run between the frame and this piece of sheetmetal like this??

Finally finished the rear axle. Plumbing the brake lines out of the pistons and out and away from the leaf brackets is a pain!

Made some progress so we could make some progress.. I can see a future where my car can get into the shop!

Stopped by the body shop. We are finally getting it ready to put into the booth for some color. It was finally dug out of the back corner now that some other cars are finished! Have to finish the engine compartment, and finish sealing everything up. Color was chosen, removable panels are coming off, should be looking at color SOON!

Engine bay with unnecessary holes closed up.. This will be cleaned up..
Image

So close..
Image

Ok, that out of the way..
Got to Kevin's this morning. It finally showed up!
Image

Couple hours later, test lift.. With something that could fall a foot or two..lol
Image
Image

Ok, making sure the arms like roadsters..
Image

It's good! Ready to use.. First car on the lift for an examination.. Lots of work to be done here.. Kevin will be making a list..

Got a lot done today!
