One of the advantages of not working ... you can never drive to work :smt033; Lots of time for WYAII though!

You can drive it but with restrictions on work and errands and stuff as in no work or errands not a daily driver. In fact they ask for proof that you have a daily driver for work and stuff insured with another company. Pleasure and cruises, club events are fine for the classics. I insured with Hagerty because I don't drive it that often and it is only for pleasure. But with Allstate they would depreciate it to worth nothing if you had an accident as it is a 45 year old car.

I did not like the idea that I was not really covered with allstate or any regular insurance company if that day ever came and I lost the Datsun from theft or an accident. Even when it is not your fault the other company wont give you much for a 45 year old car.

I think there was a breach in communications today!

Jon and I have been having a good time with some 620s and we both drove them to work this morning! Don't worry tho... the roadster still occupies the best spot in the garage. :)

Cool trucks. Been eyeing 521's myself lately, and the occasional SD engined 720 from time to time...

They are pretty cool. I found the blue/white one for $300. We tinkered on it for a few hours and then I drove it home! It's hard to find anything pre-smog that is so cheep and still fun to play around with. I'm gonna do a bit of quick body work on it and then paint it and have myself a nice little work truck. I like the 521s they are just a bit harder to find. Well, I better keep my highjacking of this thread to a minimum!

I have American Modern Home. They recently sent out a questionnaire to determine their exposure. I have no alarm or locator but since it is all apart I have a value of only $3500 on it. The cost for comp and collision is $100.00.

CK, Is your roadster painted 666 silver?

Hey Keith, maybe we can swap, your American (libra) wheels and tires for my exhaust?

I have Americanmodern for two vehicles (Roadster and Pcar).
They sent me money back after I completed a questionnaire (miles per year etc).

Can PM you the particulars if you want.

I'll be swapping to 15's sometime in the future. I can't find the tires I want in 14's. Right now I just want to get it on the road

Send me the info on the insurance. I'd like to check into it.
Keith
