Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Had a great Datsun weekend!
I could not take the roadster to Solvang but I did finish waxing her:
I still need to polish the chrome but I am happy with the the finish especially after how filthy it got after the Touge rally:
I visited the shop to do a photoshoot for Hagerty:
Got to drive this sinister 280z:
And this Hakosuka Skyline we recently sold (full story soon)
It has an 8-track player. First time I used one:

I visited Ross at Sports Imports and was lucky enough to view Mitch Jensen's latest roadster project arrive, a very nice stock '70 2000. Mitch was bringing it to Ross for some finishing touches. Mitch's SPL212 was also there for a new tonneau. Two beauties!

Great day at the Hermosa Beach "Endless Summer" Car Show. Lots of people excited to see a Roadster there.

Thanks Alvin! Lots of time and new parts since I showed it last year. The bias plys are pretty scarey to drive on and I only use them for shows - haha.

I feel a little cheated not getting to see this car at Solvang

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Last Weekend, took my '66 KA24DE Roadster on a 700+ Mile trip to San Antonio to the 2016 Nismo Fiesta Event.
The highlight of the weekend was a ~250 mile cruise through the hill country on a route called Twisted Sisters. SO much fun!
On Saturday night there was a night meet:
My son Eliot received an unexpected Bear Hug from the Z Club of Houston president, Chris Coronado.
And, Sunday the car show
Had a follow roadster owner from San Marcos also attend:

Sorry I missed it this year. Mine is still in pieces. Seems to be a slow process putting it back together after the paint job. Hope to see you next year.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
I don't have video or pictures, but I drove mine for the first time this weekend. It's been sitting for 22 years now. After months of work I finally tooled around a parking lot. Felt great!
I still have a few bugs to figure out but I should be able to get it registered soon.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Decided to drive the roadster to work this morning. First sunny day in over a week! Died twice on me. Luckily it's just a rusty-silt filled fuel filter.
Happy Monday to me!
