Here is the relevant page from the parts manual: -
Interior detail with panel.jpg
There are 3 x 1/4" screws fixing the panel to the under edge of the dash panel shown by the RED squares

Here are some pics. of my RHD glove box, yours will be a mirror image if it is LHD: -

The pic is from my Sports 1500 Parts Catalog for the SPL310, SP310, page 55-1 of course: -
SP[L]310 1965 1500 Parts Catalog Pub C-019 (Large).jpg
The same pic. is in the SP311 Parts Catalog.

The catalog doesn't list those fasteners that you asked about.
As luck would have it, I'm fitting the console panel to my car as we speech.
I tend to use lock washers on everything.
I'm using pan head screws but you could use hex head bolts if you wished.
P/N 41 & 42 are to fit the steering column clamp.

Well my dash control panel has bolts and flat washers on it. Suspect it is original.
However, I might have added the flat washers long (but unlikely) . ago do not recall.

certain bolts rather than screws are stock though

The glove box bumpers in my car (67 body) were very much like the ones Dean sells.
When I put new ones in I no longer needed 2 hands to open the glove box.

Not sure what else you need.

Well I my have swapped from Phillips to hex heads (IDNR) before Sid had a drivers license, no one can see them anyway.

But I would go with phillips based on the "Uber dork of roadster world's" statement
